Story

The story began at Hurricane Festival in Scheessel in 2001. Three friends were sitting at their campsite, drinking beer, listening to music and talking about the bands they loved when someone said: “We should start our own band.”

A few months later, DISCO met for the first time in the basement of Dennis’ parents’ house. Leon brought previous band experience; Dennis had never played drums, and Christoph had never played bass. They learned together, wrote their first songs and gradually found a sound of their own.

More than two decades later, the same three friends still rehearse, write and record together. Four EPs and one album tell part of that story — but at its core, DISCO is still about friendship, consistency and the simple joy of making music.
